Salazar is also the Chairman and Permanent Representative to the United Nations at Foundation for the Support of the United Nations (FSUN). Her commitment to influencing top leadership decisions to foster strong partnerships have led to many tangible collaborations globally. She is widely known for bringing the business perspective inside the UN by convening global forums and dialogues around global issues in partnership with UN entities and the broader business community, foundations, and country-level stakeholders.

 

Salazar is Chairman and CEO of SGG Holdings, a privately-held company engaged in consulting, family offices, impact investing, cross-border business development ventures, HNW/UHNW SWF and PPP advisory and solutions. A sought-after public-private partnerships specialist, and a Certified Executive Master Coach, Salazar is advisor to international entities, CEOs, Founders and decision-makers. Through the years, she has worked closely with top leaders and executives of global companies such as IBM, Nasdaq, Barclays, NYSE, Microsoft,The New York Times, UBS, Reuters, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Pfizer, Morgan Stanley, J.P. For her book project, Salazar was awarded the prestigious Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Residency Program, where she is now part of a long legacy of global leaders with diverse perspectives and knowledge, united in a common desire to realize positive social impact. Salazar is dedicated to cultivating and growing a new breed of Alpha Whisperers. She is above all a passionate advocate and defender of the right to freedom in all forms, and a fierce human potential activist.

 

J.C. Salazar loves horses and all equestrian sports, fencing, driving, traveling. An avid tennis player and a voracious reader, she practices QiGong, meditation and journaling. Salazar  has a special love affair with the marina, where she could spend a quiet day just watching boats and sailors come and go. She lives in New York City with her wife and their two cats.
